How it works
If you want to withdraw your building consent application, you can only do this prior to the building consent being granted by the Council:
- you need to let us know in writing.
- you should try to contact the Building Officer processing your consent (if you know who they are).
Refunds for withdrawn applications
If you withdraw your application for a building consent, you may be due a refund if you have paid your initial invoice. Any refund you may be due will be reduced to reflect the time that our team has already spent processing your application.
If you have not paid your initial invoice, you will receive an invoice for the time that our team has already spent processing your application.
