The Kiwi Project, Remutaka Conservation Trust

We provide funding support for the Kiwi Project, which aims to release Brown Kiwi into predator-controlled areas of the Remutaka Forest Park.

Little Blue Penguin Haven

Lower Hutt has a reserve dedicated to Little Blue Penguins. This site is not accessible to the public, to reduce the adverse effects of visitors on the penguins. We rely on the work of volunteers to ensure the facilities are operating properly.
