  • Location: Motutawa Avalon Park, Fairway Drive
  • Lower Hutt’s premier facility. This park consists of six different skate zones, including a mini bowl, five quarter pipes, a mix of rails, curbs and pole jams, and a five-sided fun box with a ledge.
  • Suitable for all users, BMX bikes, skateboards and scooters.

  • Location: Corner of Harcourt Werry Drive and Percy Cameron Street, Avalon.
  • A traditional concrete skate rink that can be used for any sort of wheeled sports.

  • Location: Block Road by Melling Bridge.
  • This facility will be closing soon as it has been replaced by the new, upgraded facility at Motutawa Avalon Park, as part of the Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi programme.

  • A multipurpose hard court facility with stairs and rails.

  • Location: Petone Recreation Ground.
  • A traditional mini-ramp.

  • A traditional mini-ramp but without the slow motion feeling and extensions on both sides.
