Tupua Horo Nuku requires temporary lane closures to ensure there’s space for the team to safely and efficiently work on the seawall and shared path. Construction is ongoing in Sunshine Bay, York Bay, and Whiorau/Lowry Bay. From Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5pm, and on Saturday from 7am to 4pm, there may be*:
*actual lane closure hours may be less than this depending on tide, weather and planned work. Until works are completed, all sites have a 30 kmph speed limit in place. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns. You can contact us on 0800 135 255 or at tupuahoronuku@huttcity.govt.nz |
Extension of lane closure hoursDue to upcoming work on the wastewater main, we’re temporarily increasing the time of the lane closure in York Bay to be 24/7 from Thursday 3 October for about six weeks. The site will be monitored in person 24/7 as a safety measure. This work was previously scheduled to begin 2 September but was pushed out due to subcontractor availability. During that time, the team focused on other tasks to keep progress up in the bay. We appreciate your careful driving and thank you for your patience. |
