What's in our archives?

Our archives hold the corporate memory of the council from its earliest beginnings, and the archived records of many Boards and Authorities in the Hutt area.

At the Archives we hold -

  • Correspondence and files
  • Minute books, meeting papers, reports
  • Rate books
  • Valuation records
  • Council publications, bylaws
  • Aerial photographs
  • Additional featured archives

We don't hold building plans - these are held as part of our property records - see more about this here.
