SAM's the Word
SAM the goat is the mascot for Hutt City's Waste Education Programme, and he can be seen in publications and in person helping Hutt City residents become aware of what they can do to reduce waste. SAM is a nickname for Salvage All Materials.

Hutt City Council runs educational programmes and tours for schools and environmental performance programmes for businesses.
