Are you organising a community event and need funding to help with costs such as venue hire, equipment, promotion and advertising? Your group may be eligible for a Community Events Grant. The Community Events Fund is here to encourage and support one-off, community-driven events and festivals within Lower Hutt. Applications are considered twice a year for one-off grants up to a maximum of $5,000 per application. There are two funding rounds for the 2010/2011 period. The closing date for round one is 28 May, for events taking place from 1 July to 31 December 2010.
