Community Development have developed a booklet to assist you and your organisation with seeking and securing funding. The booklet provides advice on how to complete applications, tips on fundraising and places funding can be sourced. Click here to view or print this booklet.
Due to the success of the 2009 Fit 4 Funding Forum Hutt City Council in partnership with the Department of Internal Affairs and Upper Hutt City Council are holding another forum. The 2010 forum has been designed using feedback from last year and any issues identified seen by Community groups trying to access funding and other areas of running a successful community group. The 2010 forum will be held at the Lower Hutt Town Hall on the 11th March 2010. More information will be added soon. The Community Resource Kit was developed by Family and Community Services (Ministry of Social Development) and Local Government and Community Branch of DIA (Department of Internal Affairs).
