Hutt Valley Emergency Management Office
The Hutt Valley Emergency Management Office carries out the Emergency Management, Civil Defence and Rural Fire responsibilities for both the Hutt City Council and Upper Hutt City Council. Main functions are risk reduction actions, preparedness planning, co-ordinating the response and the recovery from emergencies. Activities include public education and information, co-ordination of other emergency services, response and welfare organisations.

Office hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Staff are available at any time for an emergency.
